Andrew is a competitive shooter with over sixteen years experience and actively participates in International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) Handgun, Pistol Calibre Carbine, 2 Gun, 3 Gun, Steel Challenge, Biathlon, and other shooting sports as well as Canadian Armed Forces experience. A multiple top ten IPSC competitor and Classic Division Champion, Andrew has traveled across BC and the country to compete in provincial and national level matches.
Andrew has served as a director, vice president, and president of the Prince George Rod and Gun Club and director for IPSC BC, is a National Range Officer Institute (NROI) Chief Range Officer, and NROI Training Course Instructor (Black Badge). Andrew has been teaching for 14 years, and holds two Bachelor degrees and a Masters degree.
Fort George Firearms Training brings knowledge and practical experience of firearms from the competitive shooting world and time on the gun club executive into the CFSC and CRFSC courses as well as the IPSC Black Badge Course.
We can travel and can do private groups too! If you don’t have a Possession and Acquisition License Instructor in your area please see if we are available. Fees might be altered for travel if necessary. Fort George Firearms Training has done PAL and RPAL courses for Takla First Nation and Burns Lake Native Development Centre among others.
